Our office received the following notice from the Toronto Transit Commission: Starting in the month of July, crews will be replacing the existing chain link fences and splash guards along the subway line north and south of Wilson Station. The existing chain link fences are worn out and deteriorating. The work is required to ensure that the fences, which safely isolate and shield subway infrastructure, are in a state of good repair.
Work hours For safety, work can only be conducted overnight when traffic level is low – from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays and from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. on weekends. Traffic details After 11 p.m. nightly, there will be temporary shoulder and lane closures on Allen Road through the work areas.
